In a much-reduced fixture programme due to the weather, Cheddar and Nailsea United kept up their chase fro the championship with away wins.
Cheddar eased to a 3-0 victory at Minehead and remain two points ahead at the top of the table from Nailsea United who were given a harder than expected match at Bridgwater Town Res. The former champions eventually came out on top by the odd goal in five to leave their opponents hanging precariously above the drop zone. Ashton & Backwell United moved up to fifth place after a 3-1 win over Langford Rovers, while in the other game played, Watchet Town won 2-1 at Cutters Friday.

First Division pace setters Weston St. Johns crashed to a 4-2 defeat at Clutton who now lie just three points behind the promotion positions, but as low as tenth in the league table! Second-placed Ilminster Town won 2-1 at Saltford and closed within one point of the top team. Cleeve West Town also won 2-1 at home to Burnham United and occupy third place above Larkhall Athletic Res. who did not play. Just one point further behind are Purnells Sports and Yatton Athletic who recorded wins against Congresbury (3-1) and Shepton Mallet Res. (2-0) respectively. Brislington Res., Fry Club and Clutton are the next in line. Brislington Res. suffered a 3-1 defeat at lowly Castle Cary, but Fry Club drubbed Winscombe 4-1 to maintain their interest in the promotion race.

In the top game of the day in Division Two East, Peasedown Athletic won 2-1 at Westfield to take a three-point lead over their rivals at the top of the table. Westfield still have three games in hand. Keynsham Town Res. did not play at Radstock Town Res. and remain four points adrift. Fry Club Res. shared a goal less draw with Cutters Friday Res. whilst Farrington Gurney at last showed some form to win 2-1 at Hengrove Athletic Res. Timsbury Athletic moved up to fifth place with a 2-0 win at bottom placed Purnells Sports Res.
