South West Women’s League
The Premier Division title race has been blown wide open and any of the top four sides now harbour genuine hopes of finishing as Champions. Frome Town have gone four points clear after they ran out 6-1 winners over Stoke Lane Athletic, thanks to a Kate German double, Cassie Powell, Lindsey Whitton, Tara Taylor and an own goal. Cullompton Rangers meanwhile went down to their first defeat of the season, beaten 3-2 by Gloucester City who are now just six points off the pace. Kelly Aldridge was on target twice for Gloucester along with Helen Wood, who netted a last minute winner. Cheltenham Town kept up their winning run with a 10-0 victory over University of Exeter. Charlie Griffin bagged a five-goal haul for the second week in succession, Grace Parker added a brace and there was one apiece from Cherie Rutherford, Jade Ives and Natalie Berry. Poole Town and Larkhall Athletic finished level at 1-1, Emily Harrington's strike for Larkhall being cancelled out by an own goal.

The top of the table clash in Division One North went the way of Chippenham Town, a narrow 4-3 success over Oldland Abbotonians. Lucy Bailey netted twice for Chippenham along with Emma Boulton and Hannah Way. Downend Flyers meanwhile scored five without reply against Swindon Town Res, Katie Michaels and Debbie Stacey each bagging doubles with Karina Cockell also on target. Adele Hooper, Charlotte Blake and Rosie Jones scored the goals as Keynsham Town Development defeated Swindon Spitfires 3-1, whilst Cirencester Town came away from Weston St Johns Res with a 5-1 victory.

One match took place in Division One South, Weymouth warming up for this week's Bristol Soccerworld Cup Final by beating Saltash Utd 3-0. Georgia Rogers, Carla Garth and Kim Cheffey were all on the scoresheet for the Dorset side.
