Bradley Stoke United ‘A’ 4 Avon Athletic 4
Bradley Stoke United A had to come from behind against high flying Avon Athletic to earn a point. Avon took a first game first half 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Robbie Warden, Luke Howard and Cato Kendall. Bradley Stoke kept the second half scoreless thanks to some great defending by Callum Wilson, Sam Austin and a real skipper’s performance from man of the match Benjamin Swanson.
The second game saw Bradley Stoke come out all guns blazing. Brandon Evans grabbed the first early on with a well taken goal thanks to great midfield work from Ryan Gallop and Adam Woolley. Brandon Evans got his second after the Avon keeper spilled a Ryan Gallop shot and Evans fired the ball home. Just before half time Stoke made it 3, Adam Woolley collected the ball on the half way line, saw the Avon keeper off his line and brilliantly lobbed him. Avon fought back well second half and took an aggregate lead with a Jardel Keeling strike. As the clock ticked Woolley powered into the Avon box and as his shot was saved and bobbled around the box substitute Luis Hares stabbed the ball home to take a well deserved point for Bradley Stoke.
