Mitch Downs gave Imperial Res. the half time lead but it could have been three or four had they taken their chances. However it was a game of two halves with De Veys Res. having more of the play after the break. Playing down the slope, Imperial had their goalkeeper Wes Smith to thank for keeping the score at 1-0 until 20 minutes from time when against the run of play Imperial scored when proved to be their winning goal. With 5 minutes left to play, keeper Wes pulled off two more great saves including one in a goalmouth scramble in the final few minutes.
In the only other game played, in Division One, Long Ashton ‘A’ shared a 2-2 draw with AFC Hartcliffe Res.
