Ashley Coles was celebrating as he became a father of a baby boy and scored one of the goals as Little Stoke won 4-0 at Old Georgians to stay hot on the heels of Premier One leaders Southmead CS Athletic, Joe Hardwick, Sam Thomas and Ricky Evans were also on target for the second placed Club who have taken their unbeaten run to seven games.
Southmead CS Athletics’ game with Almondsbury Town was abandoned by the Referee after a serious injury to a Almondsbury Town player with Southmead leading 3-1 thanks to goals from Rob Sivers, Dean Graham and Chris Williams. This game will be referred to the Management Committee.
Third-placed Bristol Telephones came from behind to win their sixth successive game, Joe Mitchell gave Winford PH the lead at Somerdale before goals from Ben Griffiths and Dhani Golding earned third placed ‘Phones’ all three points.
Jerry Beadle scored both the Lawrence Weston goals in an odd goal in three victory at home to Ashton United, Lee Venn scored the United consolation goal.
Premier Two leaders Stoke Gifford United took their winning run to nine games courtesy of an 8-3 win at St Aldhelms Res., Jamie Godfrey, Tom Milkins and Andrew Gibbs were the ‘Saints’ marksmen.
The next four Clubs all had their games cancelled by the weather with Ridings High moving into sixth place beating Glenside Five OB 3-1, Julius Wetter scored for Glenside.
17-year-old Luke Cox scored twice for Southmead CS Athletic Res. who shared four goals with Tytherington Rocks Res., Justin Bishop went close for Tytherington.
Whitchurch moved five points clear of the relegation positions winning by the only goal at Almondsbury UWE Res.
Division One leaders Ridings High Res. are one of only three unbeaten teams in the league and they are seven points clear at the top, they beat Golden Hill Sports 4-1 at Winterbourne.
Wessex Wanderers bounced back from two successive defeats to win 3-1 at third-placed Totterdown POB, Matt Roberts gave Totterdown a 1-0 half time lead before Luke Webster, Jamie Lewis from the penalty spot and Sam Evans on his first team debut gave the three points to the Wanderers.
Vandad Shah was the Old Cothamians marksmen who shared two goals with visitors Broad Plain House Res.
Division Two leaders Lebeq United were without a game and second-placed Downend Foresters closed the gap at the top narrowly defeating local rivals AFC Mangotsfield by a single goal.

Kevin Evans, Andrew Slipway and Matthew Burnham were the Hengrove Athletic marksmen in a 3-1 home victory over Oldbury FC.

Third-placed Poker County UK were made to fight hard by a very young Keynsham Town ‘A’ side, Poker who had their goalkeeper sent off and seven players booked won by the odd goal in seven, Dean Gingell 2, Wayne Downton and Mike Messiah scored for Poker with Andrew Ashford and Kamil Garstka scoring twice for Keynsham.
Danny Raymond scored his second hat trick of the season to help Fry’s OB beat Fishponds OB ‘A’ 5-0 at Somerdale to move up to fifth place, Simon Arnold and Neil Murphy completed the scoring.
Gary Rowe and Paul Woodrow were on target for Filton Athletic Res. 2-0 home winners over Old Cothamians Res.
Jake Baker, Lloyd Hope and Phil Wiggan scored for Hanham Athletic Colts 3-1 home winners against bottom of the table Old Georgians Res., Rich Williams was on target for Old Georgians.
Unbeaten Division Four leaders Glenside Five OB Res. dropped two points after being held by lowly Rhubarb Athletic, Lewis Hobbs scored for the leaders with Harry Morgan levelling for Rhubarb.
Long Ashton Res. are level on points but have played more games than Glenside and are unbeaten in seven game after beating nine man Brandon Sports 6-1, Luke Elston-Bryant led the scoring with a hat trick, Ian Hayes, Carl Chisholm and Ben Thorne completed the scoring, Matt Walsh scored a consolation goal for a spirited Brandon side.
Third-placed St Anne’s Town dropped their first points since September being held 1-1 at Rockleaze Rangers ‘A’, Rob Edwards scored for Rockleaze.
Pete Wright was on target for Severn Beach Res. who drew 1-1 with Coupland Insulation.
Goalkeeper Shaun Raven saved a penalty to help Bristol Sports United to a 3-0 home win over Winford PH Res., Karl Edwards 2 and Andrew Slee were the Bristol Sports marksmen
The top two teams in Division Five had their games cancelled because of the weather, third-placed Downend Foresters won 8-1 at home to Totterdown POB Res., Joe Spearey 3, Dan Perry 2, Steve Hall, Tim Jenkins and goalkeeper Lloyd Wheeler scored for the Foresters with Kyle Thomas netting a consolation goal for Totterdown.
Ridings High ‘A’ beat Lawrence Weston ‘A’ 5-0 and Rockleaze Rangers ‘B’ beat Stoke Gifford United ‘A’ 6-1.
