Henbury Colts 2 Warmley Rangers ‘A’ 0
A goal in each half saw Henbury gain the three points in this game between two sides at the foot of the table. In a scrappy first half both sides struggled to create any chances until a Luke Cox cross was poked in by Tom Palmer at the far post to give Henbury the lead. The second half was a much better game with both sides going close early on. Henbury increased their lead when Luke Cox dribbled his way through the Warmley defence to smash the ball past Lewis George. After this it was mostly one way traffic as Henbury dominated but due to some wayward finishing and smart goalkeeping by Warmley keeper Lewis George couldn't add to the score. Warmley had a late chance when Zobzer Hemdyoun shot straight at stand-in keeper Jamie Turner which resulted in Henbury's first clean sheet of the season. (M.Mills).
