Mendip Utd Res. carried off the Temple Colston Cup on Wednesday evening at Yate Town FC winning on a penalty shoot-out following a 2-2 draw with De Veys. De Veys would appear to be missing out in the championship as well as Broadwalk Res. established a lead by beating Carmel Utd 5-1 twice in a double-fixture. De Veys did keep their hopes intact by thrashing Wessex Wanderers ‘A’ 8-1.
